Abstract

This paper describes the application of Statistical methods in quality improvement and methodology for Six Sigma was presented.This case study was conducted at Vijai Electricals Litd, HYDERABAD which is mainly manufacturing distribution Transformers. One of the basic aim of Six Sigma is to reduce variation by statistical thinking. Pareto Diagram was used to analyze various failures and Fishbone diagram used to explain the reasons for failures. The case study recommended measuresfor Quality Improvement
