Abstract
Surface finishplays important role in product quality. However, surface roughness control is not devisable from a quality control stand pointbutfrom machining conditions. To achieve such acontrol, it is preferable to optically implement a continuous record ofroughness value in a simple way as possible. This study focuses on effect of machining parameters on surface finish during turning operation. This study considers speed, feed, depth of cut as machining parameters. The paper presents useful findings about effect of machining parameters on surface quality.
