Abstract

Software testing ofHRMS (Human Resource Management System) conversion applications converting from one ERP system to other ERP systems requires a test life cycle which would provide an excellent quality application with less than 1% defects. The tradition VModel oftesting is not efficientfor ERP conversion as it incorporates large volumes of data validation and the complexity involved. In this paper, various existing model in SDLC have been reviewed and the model suiting to the changeover is designed. We identify major challenges associated with Business conversions for ERP andproposed the SDLC testing methodology in line with V model l to enhance the testing capabilities without affecting the current organizational structure.The various techniques used in this process are Orthogonal Array Testing Strategy (OATS) technique, Gray box Testing Technique and Parallel Testing Technique.
