Abstract

Due to Globalization of the economy and increasing competiveness, a scientific approach is important for survival. In construction of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) sites for Telecom, pressure is more on Turn-Key Service Providers (TSP) to complete the sites construction in shorter time span. While constructing multiple BTS sites, TSPs face major challenges in deploying the differentskilled teams to each site with a objective of reducing overall project completion time. A Limited work has been done in optimizing Construction ofMultiple BTS sites (CMBS) project. This paper attempts to develop a heuristic model for sequencing the CMBS while considering the precedence and parallel activities in each site construction.
