Abstract

Productivity is a better measure than financial ratios to evaluate the performance of the SSI units. It is an indicator of the overall efficiency of an organization helps in setting goals for improvement. Discirminant analysis is to predict the performance ofSSI units based on actual partial productivity measurements. The results obtained indicate that the discriminant function had performed well in predicting the sickness among the units.
