Abstract

The truck drivers suffers from various problems due to improper design and location of component during driving. They are unable to adopt stable and healthy posture. The objective of this research is to identify and resolve various problems faced by drivers. The dimensions of cabin and components are calculated by considering primary anthropometric data. The five parameter were identified and the descriptive analysis was done. The dimensions, location of components and their adjustability was considered as multivariable problem for maximizing comfort and factorial analysis was carried out. This research direct us towards the novel concept ofefficient and effective cabin based on the principle offitting the job to the man.
