Abstract
Ergonomics study states thatfootwear helps to reduce muscular effort up to 24.6%and reduces peak pressure by 50.2% while walking. Based on the results of extended wear tests, it is found that shoes designs based on ergonomic conditions can help in reducing peak pressure and can evenly distribute pressure across the entirefoot, therefore providing reliefforfatigue. The ergonomic design allows the foot to assume its natural shape, also aids blood flow and reduce muscular effort during standing and walking, especially usefulfor athletes and sports enthusiasts during recovery, and even for those with weakened musculature (such as the elderly). In this paper It has been discussed aboutthe problem which arefaced by people, when they wear shoes. It has been done a survey based analysis onthe exiting designs of shoes, problem facing, and impact on body nerves, and then further design an ergonomic design of shoes and its survey based analysis.
Keywords- foot anatomy, survey analysis, problems with existing shoes, alternative designs.
