Abstract
Design of Experiments(DOE) and analysis is one of the important tool in Statistical Quality Control. From DOE we can identify the variables which affect the quality (responses) of the product/process. This paper presents a case study in transformers manufacturing industry. Several responses (output quality characteristics) were simultaneously optimized by using "Derringer and Suich's" Desirabilityfunction approach. Minitab software is used for design, analysis and optimization ofresponses.
