Abstract
This paper proposes to use the DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) method for evaluating the uncertainty in the green supply chain (GSC) with the aim of to improve the overall performance, Initially, six criteria for evaluation of uncertainty in GSC has been determined based on literature review and in consulting with experts. Further, we categorize the listed criteria into cause and effect groups on account of their influential and influenced power. Finally, this analysis would help managers in building the structural model evaluating GSC uncertainty to clarify the interrelations among the criteria, further to envisage the causal association of criteria, a causal map is constructed, which would make the GSC more robust. Conclusions and opportunity for future research are also discussed.
