Abstract
Knowledge management (KM) is a process through which the organizations generate value from their knowledge-based assets. Organizational knowledge is known to be one of the most important sources for business development. Effective supply chain management requires knowledge sharing among the organization with an effective knowledge management system. This paper presents a case study conducted in a mining industry. The various factors influencing knowledge management practices in supply chain are discussed. The factors identified to be critical are-process of knowledge management, corporate culture of knowledge management, leadership, and technology and self-assessment capability. It explores the Critical Success Factors in supply chain of an organization to achieve business excellence.
