PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF TQM ASPECTS IN MANUFACTURING

Abstract

Organisations have admitted and apprehended the eminence of Total Quality Management (TQM) but results are not favored equally by all, might be applied imperfectly and hurriedly. In most cases, common observable cause perceived was lacking of performance assessment of applied TQM aspects with varying industries. To assess the performance of executed TQM aspects needs an operative mechanism for functioning executives. For that very reason, performance of every executed aspect was assessed by established extensive performance assessment model that were designed over the questionnaire based data of auto industry. An industry was selected subjectively to check the applicability of the established model in their system and management concerned found it fruitful and easy in implementing.
