Abstract

Multiagent technology has been recognized as a promising paradigm for next generation systems. The salient feature of these systems is that these agents, once triggered, keep running autonomously, Researchers have attempted to apply multiagent technology to supply chain management, Manufacturing. E marketing, simulation, scheduling and architecture. In the last decade, considerable research has been conducted in Multiagent system (MAS) from several different perspectives. This paper attempts to summarize and review the research and developments in Multiagent system with emphasis on models, methods and applications. It concludes with a brief discussion on current practices and possible future trends in Multiagent system.
