Abstract

A manually operated, low cost banana leaf sizing machine designed inorder to replace existing old method of hand cutting of individual leaf. New machine has high productive & ergonomically comfortable compared to existing method. Production time reduced by 50% & productivity increased by 1.5times. Cost of new machine is affordable to the small scale banana leaf plate sellers who cannot afford other costly machines avalable in the market. This machine also used for other applications like straw cutting which is used for feeding domestic animals like cattle.
