Abstract
Six Sigma is a business process that eliminates waste or minimizes defects by focusing on outputs essential to the customer. It drives out variability from processes using powerful statistical tools and techniques. In the paper, a review of literature related to the critical success factors is given. It analyzes critical success factors for the case of Indian auto component making company for six sigma project implementation. It has been found that except 'linking Six Sigma to employees and 'linking six sigma to suppliers, all other Critical Success Factors are found significant.
