Abstract
Various equipments are available in the market for harvesting the fodder crops and further cutting them into smaller pieces. However, these equipments only cater the needs of large scale farmers due to large size of equipment and high cost. Thus there is a need of a compact fodder harvester for small scale farmers. In the process of new product development correct ideation selection is very important considering the various selection criterion. Thus multi criteria decision making methods play an important role in ideation selection process. This paper presents an effective decision making model for ideation selection of a new product using Preference Ranking Organisation Method for Enrichment Evaluations (PROMETHEE) along with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and fuzzy logic
